Sala del Governatore at Palazzo dei Sette, Orvieto, the Youth
Human Rights Award Orvieto has been presented to the students in Terni
Province, by Liceo Majorana Orvieto and HPRT. The students from Liceo
Majorana and Liceo Gualtieri of Orvieto, as well as the Liceo Donatelli
of Terni were present.
Richard Mollica, Harvard Medical School professor and HPRT Director, together with Professors Jerry Streets, Solvig
Ekblad, Nasir
Warfa, Ahmed
Abudoam, Nisha
Nsajnani,
members of his Global Mental Health Faculty, were present to dialogue with the students.
Here are some of the reactions collected among the participants. The most recalled sentence: "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country (J.F.Kennedy)"; The initial one minute of silence: "It made me immediately catch what the meeting was about", and "it gave me a sensation of deep concentration, reflection, insight", "harmony, peace"; the communication: "Body language was the most appropriate to convey the true message of the meeting", and "these important professors were able to interact with us in such an humble and simple way".
